Lotto as a gift
Couple days ago was my housemate birthday and she got lotto as a gift from her boss.
When I found out about this, I feel so weird.
So apparently that is normal to give lotto as a gift here.
There is even an advertisment about giving lotto as a Christmas gift.
It can be a really wonderfully gift if we can win the lotto. But what if we don't win? We may think that even we got no luck on our birthday.
And what if we win big money from the lotto then the person who gave it as a gift regret it and ask for the lotto back? And when we refuse to give it back, he/she will haunt us or even kill us (okay, I read too much conan).
